The StoryAllan and Alex Wilson left the world of investment banking in late 2000, and moved to this haven in the Luberon. Under their ownership, the vineyard has moved to organic culture, and has consistently improved the quality of its wines - these are now sold in all the best local restaurants as well as being exported around the world.
The Luberon is one of the sunniest places in France, with an average sunshine of 2600 hours per year but the summer nights are cool and the Mistral reaches hear from the Rhone Valley. The soil is stony clay on limestone, which ensures the land is well drained whilst maintaining good underground water retention.
The wines are produced in a modern hillside winery at the heart of the vineyard, using temperature controlled stainless steel fermentation tanks.
